Job Overview We are recruiting experienced Car Mechanics for a busy automotive center in Germany. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicle models, ensuring they run safely and efficiently. You will work with modern diagnostic equipment and tools to solve mechanical issues and provide excellent service to customers.
Key Duties Include
Repairing vehicle engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Performing diagnostics and regular maintenance checks (oil, fluids, tires).
Inspecting vehicles thoroughly to identify necessary repairs and safety concerns.
Detailed Responsibilities
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks).
Provide accurate estimates for specific repair jobs (cost, time, spare parts).
Keep logs on work and issues and update the vehicle service history.
Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs are successful and safe.
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition and keep the garage clean.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines regarding chemical handling and machinery.
Requirements & skills
Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic with deep knowledge of German car brands (optional but preferred).
Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment (e.g., lift).
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents.
Valid certification or vocational training in automotive repair.
