Job Overview We are looking for a qualified and safety-conscious Electrician for industrial and commercial projects in Finland. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. You will ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes and standards. This role requires deep technical knowledge and the ability to solve complex electrical problems efficiently.
Key Duties Include
Installing and maintaining electrical systems, wiring, and control panels.
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and equipment malfunctions.
Ensuring compliance with national electrical codes and safety standards.
Detailed Responsibilities
Execute plans of electrical wiring for well functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.
Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels).
Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables.
Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair them.
Test electrical systems using devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters
Requirements & skills
Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings.
Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter).
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
Valid electrician license and relevant vocational diploma.
