Job Overview A luxury 5-star hotel in France is seeking meticulous and energetic Housekeepers to join their hospitality team. You will be responsible for maintaining the immaculate cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of guest rooms, suites, and public areas. Your attention to detail will directly impact guest satisfaction, ensuring they have a comfortable, sanitary, and memorable stay at our property.
Key Duties Include
Cleaning guest rooms, corridors, and public areas thoroughly to high 5-star standards.
Replenishing linens, towels, luxury toiletries, and room amenities.
Reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost & found items to management.
Detailed Responsibilities
Strip beds and change bed linen, making beds daily to hospital corners/luxury standards.
Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust all surfaces including high-touch areas.
Deep clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, and fixtures.
Clean mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces to a streak-free finish.
Restock beverages and food items in the mini-bar and track consumption.
Ensure the security of guest rooms while working and respect the privacy of guests at all times.
Respond to guest queries and special requests (e.g., extra pillows) politely and promptly.
Manage the housekeeping cart and ensure it is fully stocked for the shift.
Requirements & skills
Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper, preferably in a hotel environment.
Ability to work independently with little supervision while maintaining high standards.
Customer-oriented approach with a friendly and professional attitude.
Physical stamina and mobility, including reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting.
Integrity and honesty are essential.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety supplies.
