Job Overview A reputable healthcare facility in Italy requires dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistants to join their patient care team. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential basic care to patients, assist with daily living activities, and serve as a vital support link between patients and the nursing/medical staff. We are looking for individuals who genuinely care about improving the quality of life for others.
Key Duties Include
Assisting patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Monitoring and recording vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and cheerful environment for patients to promote recovery and comfort.
Detailed Responsibilities
Turn and reposition bedridden patients regularly to prevent the development of bedsores and improve circulation.
Serve meals and assist patients with eating if necessary, monitoring dietary restrictions.
Measure and record fluid intake and output accurately in patient charts.
Assist patients with mobility, including walking, moving from bed to chair, and light physical therapy exercises.
Change bed linens, sanitize patient rooms, and manage laundry duties.
Observe subtle changes in patient physical or mental condition and immediately report them to the Registered Nurse.
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times.
Requirements & skills
Proven work experience as a Nursing Assistant, Care Aide, or similar role in a hospital or care home.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology, hygiene standards, and infection control procedures.
High level of empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature.
Physical stamina and the ability to handle lifting/moving patients safely.
Current CPR and First Aid certification is mandatory.
Relevant certification or diploma in Nursing Assistance.
