Job Overview We are currently hiring efficient and detail-oriented Warehouse Packing Helpers for a busy logistics and distribution facility in Hungary. As a key member of the logistics team, you will be responsible for the final stage of the order fulfillment process. Your role is to ensure that every item is packed securely, labeled correctly, and dispatched on time, maintaining the company’s reputation for speed and accuracy.
Key Duties Include
Picking and packing orders for shipment efficiently using handheld scanners and packing stations.
Inspecting products for defects, damages, or missing parts before sealing packages.
Labeling packages accurately and updating inventory systems to reflect current stock levels.
Detailed Responsibilities
Weigh and label packages appropriately for shipping, ensuring the correct postage or courier details are applied.
Check packing lists against physical items to ensure 100% order accuracy.
Select the right packing materials (boxes, bubble wrap, peanuts) to prevent damage during transit.
Load and unload delivery vehicles using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques.
Keep the packing area clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain safety standards.
Report any inventory discrepancies or stock shortages immediately to the floor supervisor.
Follow strict health and safety guidelines regarding manual handling and heavy lifting.
Requirements & skills
Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or packing role is highly preferred.
Ability to read and understand shipping documents, invoices, and digital picking lists.
Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy boxes (up to 20kg) repeatedly during a shift.
Basic math skills for counting stock and verifying order quantities.
Good organizational and time management skills to meet hourly packing quotas.
